This is my disertation project for the master's degree in arts, specialised in painting, at Universitatea de Vest din Timisoara, Romania. The project is a triptych.

The project's concept is based on the story named "Carita Romana". I reinterpreted it from a modern and personal perspective.

According to Wikipedia: Carita Romana is an exemplary story of a daughter, Pero, who secretly breastfeeds her father, Cimon, after he is incarcerated and sentenced to death by starvation. She is found out by a jailer, but her act of selflessness impresses officials and wins her father's release.
